LET'S UNLOCK THE POWER OF
LEARNING & READING!
Did you know only 42% of kids love reading?
Studies indicate a decline in the frequency of daily reading for pleasure, with only 42% of 9-year-olds reading almost every day, down from 53% in previous years. This trend underscores the need for dedicated support in fostering a love for reading, which is crucial for academic success and lifelong learning.

"There is no way Luke would be anywhere close to where he is now without Hailee. He caught up and is operating within his grade level. Luke gets excited and is proud of himself when he sees how much reading, words, etc. he has accomplished with Hailee."
AMY CHARNOCK
" IÂ would absolutely recommend Hailee! The proof is in my son's progress and I don't feel like anyone else would have had such a significant impact with him."
PATRICKÂ CHARNOCK
"My 1st grader had a 504 plan for ADHD and Hailee customized his learning and environment around his needs to ensure the most productive and comfortable experience for him. I only wish we signed up for tutoring earlier!"
AUDRY DELANO
"I would overwhelmingly recommend Ms. Hailee’s tutoring to any family that sees that their child struggles with reading. Since working with her, we have seen our child’s reading ability go up a full grade level. We are seeing better test scores, better reading comprehension and one of my personal favorites is we are finally seeing him read the world around him; signs, street names, product packaging, these were things he never even attempted to do before working with her and it helps me feel safer knowing that he can navigate the world in that way now. My son has a condition called childhood apraxia of speech and it affects his ability to say word sounds correctly, which in turn makes it difficult to sound out words and sounds. We knew he needed extra help, but it seemed like no matter what we tried ourselves he was still struggling. Ms. Hailee’s background in special education, skill in teaching and genuine passion for helping children learn to read truly makes her the best fit for our family."

and I am a virtual reading tutor specializing in foundational reading skills for students in kindergarten through second grade. With over ten years of experience as a special education teacher, I’m dedicated to helping young learners build strong literacy skills using research-backed, effective strategies.
My tutoring approach is grounded in the science of reading, and I utilize a structured literacy method to ensure each student gains a deep understanding of reading concepts. I am trained in both Orton-Gillingham and LETRS (Language Essentials for Teachers of Reading and Spelling)—two evidence-based approaches rooted in the science of how children learn to read. These programs provide a strong foundation for supporting students with dyslexia and other reading difficulties.
Over the years, I have had the privilege of working with students with a wide range of learning needs, including dyslexia, learning disabilities, autism, ADHD, and speech and language impairments. I tailor instruction to meet each child’s unique needs, helping them build both skill and confidence.
I hold a Master’s Degree in Special Education and a Mild/Moderate Education Specialist Teaching Credential, which have equipped me with the tools to support all students in achieving their reading goals.
I’m passionate about empowering students to become confident, capable readers and look forward to partnering with you to help your child succeed.
